PRESENTATIONS

BECAUSE IT IS HARD, NOT  BECAUSE IT IS EASY
The tough road to the Olympics is not easy. There are obstacles in the way but athletes see this as a challenge and the fact is, that by being challenged they raise their game. In this presentation Frank looks at the challenges some athletes have faced and how they raised their performance - just as you can in your business arena

PREPARED TO PERFORM
Olympians are not in total control of results but they control their own performance and those whose performance they influence. Raising collective performance is the key to making the results they seek both achievable and probable. Using his Olympic coaching experience Frank discusses examples from his own career and covers five themes of performance delivery

OUR POWER
Whether planning or learning, our advantage is in interdependence, in doing it together. This is essential when it comes to any team sports in an Olympic Games. In the presentation, Frank examines some of the great and good team achievements and relates it to a business environment through six themes

COACHWORK
Every athlete needs a coach. In athletics, coaching is perceived to be about preparing for better or different performance but it is much more than that. Everyone has experience of coaching in some shape or form. This presentation looks at how we can learn to be more coachable and to develop our coaching ability.

COACH LIKE AN OLYMPIAN
I want you to have a picture of what goes on in the coach’s world for and at an Olympic Games.  So this is both about what goes on behind the scenes and what is up front on the stage.  Material is naturally from personal experience and a substantial reservoir of anecdotes and observation of people and situations that make history from the 1972 Olympics through the 2012 run in.  Presentations and/or interactive workshops are themed to your requirement.   Of course, sport and business are covered and I believe you will find they relate to you and will help you be all you are capable of becoming; because that’s what winning is for Olympians.
